June 19, 2015: "Gender equality and empowerment of women are critical and good for all; for economies, for companies, and for harmony in our societies. We, as companies, have a central role to play in this imperative transformation". Jean-Pascal Tricoire, CEO Schneider Electric.

The HeForShe campaign’s IMPACT 10X10X10 program is a three-to-five year pilot effort, initiated by the United Nations Women, to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment by galvanizing momentum among governments, corporations and universities. Launched at a press conference at the World Economic Forum in Davos, in January of 2015, the program engages 30 key leaders across three sectors: the public sector, private sector and academia. IMPACT champions from participating governments, corporations and Universities serve as advocates for gender equality within and beyond their organizations, and each IMPACT champion has made gender equality an institutional priority, committing to bold targets and to report on progress.

Schneider Electric was selected by the United Nations Women as one of the IMPACT 10X10X10 Corporate Champions.
