    Inauguration of a new manufacturing site in Badr City

    In an impressive & unforgettable opening ceremony on November 4, 2008, Schneider Electric Egypt inaugurated its new manufacturing site in Badr City.

    Mr. Henri Lachmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Christian Wiest, Executive Vice President International Operating Division and 650 of our prestigious clients, partners & suppliers celebrated & witnessed the strong contribution of Schneider Electric in the Egyptian economy.

    The new innovative & intelligent factory is part of the strategy of Schneider Electric to contribute to sustaining the development of the country. We believe that we can achieve more while using less of our common planet. As global energy specialist, Schneider Electric has developed a solutions approach to help their customers make the most of their energy.

    This new factory uses the latest construction technologies to ensure that the factory is echo-friendly, designed to dispose the industrial waste whilst having the least amount of negative impact on the environment. The new factory is set on over 45,000 square meters of land at Badr Industrial City with a total investment reaching EGP 250 millions.

    It is entirely equipped with Schneider products & solutions: from our Building Management systems, up to the medium and low voltage products & switchboards, UPS and Installation Systems & Control products.

    Our energy efficiency solutions will improve the energy management in this new factory and optimize associated costs.
