    President Hosny Mubarak Officialy inaugurates Schneider Electric Egypt's new Badr faciility

    Egyptian President Hosny Mubarak Officially Inaugurates Schneider Electric Egypt & NEA’s new manufacturing facility at Badr City.
     

    Egyptian President Hosny Mubarak officially inaugurated Schneider Electric Egypt & NEA’s state-of-the-art Medium and Low Voltage Equipment Factory at Badr City on Wednesday, 8th of April 2009.
     
    The inaugural visit was part of the President’s election campaign that included supporting the “1000 Factories” national project. The president’s inaugural visit included a high profile Egyptian cabinet delegation, lead by Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif, Minister of Defense and Military Production Field Marshal Hussien Tantawi, Minister of Industry and Trade Eng. Rasheed Mohammed Rasheed, Minister of Electricity and Energy Dr. Hassan Younes, along with various other officials.

    H.E French Ambassador Jean Felix-Paganon, Schneider Electric Egypt & NEA Country Manager Mr. Emmanuel Le Masson and his team members, accompanied the President and his delegation through out the inaugural event. The factory tour included a demonstration of the company’s business activities in Egypt and the region, as well as equipment produced at the facility.
     
    Schneider Electric Egypt & NEA Country Manager Mr. Emmanuel Le Masson, lead the demonstration by an opening speech highlighting SEE & NEA dedication and commitment to sustaining growth and development.
     
    Minister of Industry and Trade, Eng. Rasheed Mohammed Rasheed was also amongst the speakers at the event, reflecting appreciation to Schneider Electric’s investments and quality presence in the country.
     
    After more than 25 years in Egypt, Schneider Electric Egypt wrote a new success story and ensures its presence in the local market, demostrating its continuing commitment towards the development of the country.
