Schneider Electric Launches New High-End Modicon M580 in the Egyptian Market
The high-availability solution is the first PAC built for the Industrial Internet of Things
Cairo-17 March, 2016: Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, has announced the launch of its new high-end Modicon M580 Ethernet programmable automation controller (ePAC) in the Egyptian market. The flagship product of the Modicon range of controllers features hot standby functionality (HSBY), native Ethernet, and cyber security embedded in its core. The first PAC built for the Industrial Internet of Things, the Modicon M580 ePAC is the high-end integrated controller of PlantStruxure, the company’s automation architecture.
