What is the difference between onload and off load switch disconnectors and what is the type of INS switch ?

- On load switch disconnector:
it is switch disconnector that can open and close the circuit on load and perform the isolation required.

- Off Load switch disconnector:
It is switch disconnector that must open and close the circuit when load is off (it can not operate on nominal load) - For example - Earthing switch used with CB during maintenance

- The INS Switch is of the on load type
