Ask a Question

What is the benefit of locking the operators on motor circuit breaker ? How can it be done ?

Locking the operators on motor circuit breaker is done for the benefit of isolation ; as these circuit breakers-in the open position- provide an adequate isolation distance and indicate the actual position of the moving contacts by the position of the operators.
The operators in both of the open mounted and enclosed motor circuit breakers can be locked by adjusting it to the stop position (O) using up to 4 padlocks.
