Ask a Question

Why my four ATV212 are not accelerated to the desired speed equally although the time settings is the same for all ?

This may be due to the Auto ramp adaptation (Auto Ramp) Enabling [AU1==1] while the loads connected to the four drives are not the same.
So that each drive monitors and optimizes its own Acceleration time according to the load needs.

Thanks to consider the following when adjusting your Acceleration / Deceleration Time:

  • If you want the drive to optimize the Acceleration and Deceleration time according to the Load connected, kindly follow the steps as below:

1.     Stop the Drive from Running.

2.     AU1: 1

3.     ACC: according to the drive's ratings (Attached)

4.     dEC: according to the drive's ratings (Attached)

Like this, the drive will monitor its own loading level and optimize the acceleration and deceleration ramps. The acceleration and deceleration (AU1 = 1 only) rates will be automatically adjusted between 1/8 to 8 times the settings of [Acceleration time 1] (ACC) and [Deceleration time 1] (dEC), depending on the drive’s current rating and the load level on the motor. ACC and dEC should be appropriately set for an average load in the application.

  • If your Application requires a consistent acceleration and deceleration time, thanks to follow the below steps:

1.     Stop the Drive from Running.

2.     AU1: 0

3.     ACC: according to the drive's ratings (Attached)

4.     dEC: according to the drive's ratings (Attached)

Like this, the Acceleration and Deceleration would be constant all the time whatever the load value.
