Is it possible to Dim halogen lights with 0-10V control dimming unit ?

For this option can be used Merten electronic potentiometer insert 1-10 V MTN5142-0000 or DIN version 1-10V dimmer SCU10-DIN (CCTDD20011).
Both those dimmers can  switch and dim fluorescent lamps, with electronic ballast or electronic transformers with a 1–10V interface, which is probably required in this case.
Used transformers for halogen lamps must be an electronic types and it needs to be known exactly the type, if it is with possibility to dim by analog signal 0-10V or 1-10V. The difference is that the 1-10V can dimm the light from around 10% up to 100% withouth switching it off. The swithcing off is made by push button or knob. The version 0-10V has possibility to dimm the light from 0% up to100%. For 0-10V dimming we do provide only the KNX dimmer solution MTN647091.
