Schneider Electric launches EcoStruxure™ architecture and platform in Egypt

- Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, is organizing the “Innovation Summit Egypt 2017” to launch its EcoStruxure architecture and platform for end-to-end IoT-enabled Solutions in Egypt affirming its commitment to this pivotal market in order to achieve the elements of sustainability, efficiency, reliability and security for its customers. In the presence of Mr. Jean-Pascal Tricoire, CEO and Chairman of Schneider Electric, Eng. Walid Sheta, Cluster President of North East Africa and Levant, and all heads of the company's business sectors. Egypt joins the EcoStruxure platform.
Delivering enhanced values around safety, reliability, efficiency, sustainability, and connectivity of IoT-enabled operations, EcoStruxure has been deployed in 450,000+ installations, with the support of 9,000 system integrators and connecting over 1 billion devices.
The launch of the enhanced architecture and platform comes in light of a strong push toward digital transformation and at a time of mounting economic growth in Egypt. EcoStruxure is designed to lower energy consumption which accounts for 30% of facilities’ operating costs, maximize operational uptime, minimize operational and maintenance costs and increase workforce safety.
EcoStruxure delivers IoT-enabled solutions at scale for building, grid, industry, and data center customers through its different systems which include EcoStruxure Building, EcoStruxure Data Center, EcoStruxure Grid, EcoStruxure Power and EcoStruxure Plant. The interoperable architecture and platform delivers enhanced values of cloud computing, data analytics, and cyber security technologies to ensure its customers innovation at every level.
The event comes at a time when Egypt is witnessing growing economic growth to meet the requirements of digitization, which prompted Schneider Electric to launch the EcoStruxure solution package to help provide more than 30% of the operating costs as well as improve energy efficiency and maintenance, while increasing Readiness through fully structured energy distribution as well as risk management, safety and security for all institutional staff.
At the upcoming conference, Schneider will be having a 2,000+ sqm display stand showcasing EcoStruxure products, and solutions.
Schneider is also launching its Masterpact MTZ, which incorporates the latest digital technologies.
An EcoStruxure Power connected product, Masterpact MTZ air circuit breaker takes the lead in power uptime and energy efficiency, building on the legendary performance, reliability and safety of the Masterpact range. Through its integrated intelligence technology and internal current transformers, the Masterpact MTZ circuit breaker enables customer to upgrade the electronic separation unit at any time, as well as reduce problems of current fluctuation.
